The overall goal of this program is to provide an overview of the fundamental principles of life science career path in HIV prevention and practice of leadership. Students will learn the basis of life science practice through hands-on experience and mentorship provided by HIV prevention team at the Thai Red Cross AIDS Research Centre (TRCARC). Students will also be immersed in both the research and advocacy aspects of HIV prevention effort, translating public health knowledge into practice. Additionally, students will be introduced to real-life challenges facing HIV curtailment effort, and will have a chance to exercise leadership and problem solving skills. The program intends to introduce different necessary skill sets required to be a practitioner and a leader in the field of public health.
