Job Title: Knowledge management Specialist

Job Summary
      Knowledge Management Specialist provides overall guidance and leadership in the areas of knowledge management including designing and implementing the knowledge management strategy, developing and maintaining knowledge management system, promoting knowledge sharing and transfer, analyzing and synthesizing the research outcomes, providing capacity building and facilitate the change management, building the strategic partnership with stakeholders, and monitoring and evaluating the knowledge management implementation.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
      Design the knowledge management strategy according to the current knowledge management framework and develop and oversee its implementation plan
      Provide a strategic support to develop and maintain the knowledge management system in the organization as well as across international network and promote knowledge sharing and transfer through the regional communities and research networks
      Analyze and synthesize researches and programs, by working closely with Technical Writer to write up the summaries and findings and document good practices and lessons learned in an appropriate style and language for a variety of audiences including researchers, practitioners and policy makers
      Work closely with Program/Research Coordinators and other key staff on implementing the knowledge management activities to advocate for health-related policy changes at national and international levels
      Provide the capacity building for the organization and stakeholders and facilitate the change to regional knowledge-based network
     Build and maintain strategic partnerships with external professionals and institutions in support of knowledge sharing and networking.
     Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of knowledge management implementation
Primary Qualifications

  1. Thai national only
  2. Master’s degree in public health, social science, business or public administration, international development, organizational development, health communication
  3. At least 5-year experience in project management on knowledge management with a proven track record of designing, planning and implementing knowledge management initiatives
  4. Proven facilitation and collaboration skills working with multi-level stakeholders, including technical experts, government agencies, local partners, researchers, policy makers and others, in health sector, within a multicultural environment with respect and sensitivity for diversity
  5. Ability to multi-task and work in cross-functional, fast-paced environments with the pressure of multiple deadlines 
  6. Demonstrated ability to provide capacity-building regarding knowledge management and organizational learning
  7. Excellent technical writing skills, both in English and Thai
  8. Good IT skills, including familiarity with a variety of social network media and other communication tools and channels
